D.O. Rías Baixas, Galicia - 93 PARKER. 57% Mencía, 24% Espadeiro, and 19% Caíño. The Caíño comes from the Perdecanai estate in the municipality of Barro and the Miranda estate in the municipality of Cambados. The Mencía comes from the Lantaño estate in Portas and the Ramallosa and Millara estates in the municipality of Udra. The vines are between 15 and 95 years old on trellises, except for the Ramallosa and Millara estates, which are trained on vines. The soils are sandy loam with granite rock, deep and rich in organic matter.
Grapes are foot-crushed, alcoholic fermentation with native yeasts and 100% of the stems. The grapes are decanted after 21 days and aged for 11 months in 61% oak barrels and 39% in stainless steel. The wine is then aged for 9 months in a bottle rack. 10.1% Alc. 4,041 bottles and 40 magnums. Recommended by El Sommelier.
