D.O. Ribeiro, Spain - Caiño Longo (60%), approx 35% of Brancellao and another 5% of Espadeiro on “sabrego” (granitic sand) soils. It was harvested in early September in perfect sanitary condition. The whole clusters fermented with its native yeasts, separated the lots by plots and varieties. Covered for 40 days and subsequent aging of 11 months in French oak barrels (20% new barrel). Bottled in early November 2018. It has a medium layer cherry color. The nose is very intense and fragrant with notes of ripe red fruits, violets, earthy notes and minerals. In the mouth there is more freshness and precision than other years thanks to a very successful acidity, a lot of balance and elegance, medium body, round tannins and an end of good persistence. Recommended by El Sommelier.
