AOC. Petit Chablis (Burgundy), France - 100% Chardonnay from a vineyard with an average age of 15 to 30 years. The vineyard is located in Ligny-Le-Châtel, Maligny, and Villy. Planting density is 7,300 vines/Ha, with yields of 14 hl/Ha. The soils are Kimmeridien limestone. Alcoholic fermentation takes place with natural yeasts for 150 days. After malolactic fermentation, Garnier et Fils Chablis is aged for 11 months in stainless steel tanks. There, it remains in contact with the lees, which rounds it out with greater volume on the palate and imparts characteristic aromas from these dead yeast cells. After clarification (with bentonite) and filtration, the wine is bottled. A surprising Chablis with magnificent intensity, ready to drink and enjoy. Recommended by The Sommelier.
