Avia Valley (Ribeiro-Galicia), Spain - 50% Agudelo (Chenin Blanc), 30% Treixadura, and 20% Lado, grown on biodynamically decomposed granite soils in Riobó (Avia Valley), the historic heart of Ribeiro wine country. The grapes are foot-trodden, gently pressed, and alcoholic fermentation begins with wild yeasts in stainless steel tanks. The wine is then aged for 7 months on its fine lees in 350 and 600-liter French oak barrels (this vintage marks the first time amphorae have been omitted). Ollos de Roque is Iago's signature wine, a rare gem in Spain, closer to the Jura region than anywhere else, with a distinctive character marked by subtle flor, salinity, and the tension that defines this spectacular wine. Iago Garrido Ollos de Roque 2023

Fazenda Agrícola Augalevada is the winery that gives its name to the project of Iago Garrido and Liliana Lafuente. Located in Rioboó, in the historic core of Ribeiro, on the left bank of the Avia Valley, leaving behind the Monastery of San Clodio and following a winding road up the mountain, you come to the hacienda, surrounded by vegetation and mountains where you can not see more civilization than a few animals that Iago himself cares for on his 4 Ha. farm. A place that captivates you for its silence and beauty. Between the vineyards, there is a small stream that divides the farm into two parts, which the older peasants called "Augalevada", a name they decided to borrow for their new winery in the area. Iago and Lili met at the Faculty of Ourense where they studied Agricultural Engineering with a specialty in Enology. In 2009, they bought the 4 Ha farm where they planted 2.5 hectares of vineyards. with the different autochthonous varieties of Ribeiro, always closely linked to the idea and knowledge of organic and biodynamic viticulture. Iago is a natural, idealistic and passionate nonconformist of nature and wines with a soul, he does not settle for making a good wine, he looks for perfection in wines and he works tirelessly to achieve it, even though in just two years he has achieved a wine of an extraordinary quality, a style of wine more like a good Loire, with some parameters of acidity that practically nobody gets in Ribeiro, he always wants more and he has never been satisfied with his wine, a clear symptom that will come to elaborate great wines. In 2013 they built the winery and were certified by Demeter, being the first and only winery with official certification in biodynamics in Galicia. The winery is designed by plants to work by gravity so that the care of grapes and must is as delicate as possible. The grapes ferment naturally in ampoules of 500 l. buried in the basement of the cellar. After several years of testing, the 2014 vintage was the first vintage that it marketed, a ribeiro of expression totally different from what is known to date. 

Production of 2,600 bottles. 13% Alc. Total acidity: 7 gr / l. Ph: 3.1

Optimal consumption: 2025-2032. It is recommended to oxygenate half an hour in a decanter.
