"A blend of the 2021 and 2020 vintages, matured in oak barrels for one and two years respectively, Lahaye's latest Brut Nature Blanc de Blancs NV will be disgorged in April 2025 without dosage. It comes from the site called Le Mont Ferré, in the village of Voipreux, at the confluence of the Vertus and Le Mesnil-sur-Oger. Sourced from old massal selection Chardonnay planted in 1952 (vineyards that produce grapes with a distinctive golden violet skin), the wine opens with aromas of lemon zest, fresh pear, brioche, and pastries. On the palate, it is medium to full-bodied, fleshy, and concentrated, with vibrant acidity and a long finish. Like the Violaine cuvée, it is vinified and disgorged without the addition of sulfites."
