D.O. Ribera del Duero, Castile and León - 100% Tinto Fino (Tempranillo) from very old vines – between 60 and 90 years old – sourced from unique vineyards in La Horra and La Aguilera. The harvest is done by hand, in small 15-kilo crates which we meticulously inspect, bunch by bunch, on a sorting table. Aged for 21 months in new French oak barrels. This wine, crafted by Mariano García, who was the winemaker at Vega Sicilia for 30 years, is only produced in exceptional vintages. Previous vintages received 95 points from Parker. The 2023 vintage has not yet been rated. Recommended by The Sommelier.
