Bérêche & Fils Brut Réserve is one of the most representative cuvées from this historic house in the Montagne de Reims, a Champagne that has played a decisive role in consolidating the prestige of so-called "grower Champagnes" on the international stage. The Bérêche family works with a philosophy of minimal intervention, respectful viticulture, and a deep commitment to the expression of the terroir.
Brut Réserve is, in essence, the gateway to the house's style: a Champagne that combines structure, freshness, and precision, crafted from a selection of plots in the Montagne de Reims and the Marne Valley, where the three classic Champagne varieties coexist.
On the nose, it offers a frank and balanced expression, with notes of ripe white fruit, Granny Smith apple, fresh citrus, and light hints of stone fruit. Hints of brioche, dried fruit, and a pronounced minerality also emerge, adding depth to the overall impression.
On the palate, it is ample yet very precise, with fine, well-integrated bubbles. The entry is gentle, but an internal tension quickly emerges, balancing the whole. The fruit remains crisp, accompanied by lively acidity and a dry, slightly saline finish that invites another sip.
This is an extremely versatile Champagne for food pairings, capable of working both as a sophisticated aperitif and as an accompaniment to more complex dishes, from seafood and fish to poultry or more classic cuisine.
Brut Réserve embodies the essence of the Bérêche style: a balance between tradition and modernity, with a very precise interpretation of the Montagne de Reims terroir.
