DO. Ycoden-Daute-Isora, Spain - Variety Listán Prieto. Benje is a project of 8 Ha. And some 20,000 bottles that share with vine growers of Santiago del Teide at 1000 meters of altitude. The varieties they grow are Listan Prieto in 95% and 5% in Tintilla (Trousseau). The soils are volcanic black basalt with a sandy-loam texture and some plots covered with volcanic ash. Plants between 70 to 100 years of age planted in free standing are pruned in a glass with a planting density of 2,500 to 3,000 plants per hectare. Harvesting was carried out in 4 days so as not to overcoat. The wine is made with a 30% whole harvest, with its native yeasts in concrete tanks, separating the different "terroirs" according to the interpretation of each vintage. Subsequently, it is aged for 8 months in neutral barrels of 228 l.

The Envínate project formed by Laura Ramos, José Martínez, Roberto Santana and Alfonso Torrente is currently one of the most demanded, solid and dynamic in the production of "terroir" wines by the Spanish geography. They are at the top in terms of prestige and popularity in Spain and do not stop getting recognition beyond our borders. In a short time they have gained an international reputation for producing cult wines at popular prices, even in areas such as Extremadura and Almansa, where not even one could imagine that wines made there could have the finesse and elegance they have. They met at the Faculty of Enology of Alicante and after working in several prestigious wineries, in 2008 they decided to start a project to recover the minority and forgotten vineyards, always under the prism of recovering the traditional viticulture of the area through a respectful viticulture with the environment and the environment. This is how the wines produced in Extremadura (Tinta Amarela), Galicia (Lousas), Albacete (Albahra) and Tenerife are born, where they have the Taganan project of extreme vineyards in Anaga, in the north of the island and the last project called Benje, in Santiago del Teide, in the appellation of origin Ycoden-Daute-Isora.
