D.O. Jumilla, Region of Murcia - Airén and Macabeo grapes from three vineyards in the Fortaleza area, in a shady spot near the village, at an altitude of 840 to 900 meters above sea level, on marl soils (green, red, white, and blue) with some earth and gravel on top. The must from direct pressing fermented with whole lees in foudres and barrels, and matured for 12 months in a 5000-liter foudre. 12% ABV.
One of the most surprising white wines on the Iberian Peninsula, produced by Bodegas Cerrón, possibly the most cult winery in Spain today. Recommended by The Sommelier.
