DOCG. Barolo (Piedmont), Italy - 100% Nebbiolo from 4 Ha Boscareto vineyard and 1 Ha Lirano vineyard in Serralunga d’Alba. Soils in this southeastern part of the Barolo appellation are more sandy of limestone origin, which gives it more freshness, finesse and floral aromas. It has a nice ruby color with a low layer. On the nose it is very subtle and elegant with red fruit, withered rose, liquorice, leather on a balsamic background. The palate is a fresh, medium-bodied wine, with fine and slightly marked tannins, an ethereal, savory and tremendously addictive texture, with a long and persistent finish. It is a wine that perfectly reflects the Barolo de Serralunga in a low-extraction style with which Ferdinando seeks a style that is accessible from the moment it comes on the market but also with some aging potential. A jewel of excellent value for money for lovers of classic Barolos. Recommended by The Sommelier.
