D.O. Bierzo, Castilla y León - 100% Merenzao on clay soils with boulders at 575 m. altitude. Fermentation with native yeasts in French oak barrels. Wine from the vineyard of Los Pinos, in Las Gundiñas. The first wine made from 100% Merenzao protected by the Bierzo Denomination of Origin. Production limited to one barrel, 450 bottles. 93 Parker in the 2020 vintage. Recommended by El Sommelier.
Tasting:
Very light color typical of the variety, clean and bright. On the nose it is pure strawberry, cherry and roses. In the mouth it is very fresh and perfumed, long and with good acidity that bodes well for evolution.
