D.O. Navarra , España- 98 PARKER. 100% Garnacha de viñas muy viejas la parte baja del viñedo principal, llamado Lupier, donde se encuentra menos pizarra. Se vendimió a principios de septiembre y se vinificó con racimos enteros y una larga maceración. La parte alta se vinificó por separado y podría lanzarse como un nuevo vino de viñedo único; sin embargo, solo se dispone de un par de barricas y aún no se ha decidido qué hacer. Su graduación alcohólica es moderada, alrededor del 13,5%. Es preciso, limpio y concentrado, con una pureza de aromas y sabores, una textura delicada, taninos superfinos, equilibrio y mucha energía. Se produjeron 2.500 botellas. Se embotelló en noviembre de 2025.
DOMAINES LUPIER LA DAMA 2023
Domaines Lupier La Dama 2023 marks a turning point in the history of Domaines Lupier and is the first vintage entirely vinified, aged, and bottled by Raúl Pérez and his team after joining the project in 2022. This new stage offers a more precise, elegant, and ethereal vision of the mountain-grown Garnacha from Navarre, placing La Dama among the most refined wines currently produced in Spain.
La Dama comes exclusively from the Lupier vineyard, specifically from its lower slopes, an area with less slate, which contributes a more delicate, fragrant, and subtle profile. The old vines located in San Martín de Unx are cultivated at high altitude and offer low yields, allowing for an extremely pure and precise expression of the Navarrese terroir.
The 2023 vintage stands out for its early harvest in early September and its winemaking process based on 100% whole cluster fermentation and long maceration. The result is a Garnacha with moderate alcohol content (around 13.5%) that prioritizes finesse, energy, and clarity over excessive concentration.
On the nose, it displays an extraordinarily elegant and refined profile, with aromas of fresh red fruit, flowers, Mediterranean herbs, mineral notes, and delicate hints of spice. On the palate, it is silky, precise, and profoundly harmonious, with ultra-fine tannins, an airy texture, and impressive fruit purity. The overall sensation is one of balance, delicacy, and tremendous mineral tension.
La Dama 2023 also represents a conceptual shift within Domaines Lupier. While El Terroir originates from six distinct plots and expresses the character of the village of Sant Martí de Unx, La Dama seeks to reflect the specific personality of the Lupier vineyard as a true single-vineyard wine.
Production is extremely limited, with just 2,500 bottles released in November 2025. Already considered one of Navarra's great contemporary Garnachas, it stands out for its ethereal, elegant, and profoundly gastronomic profile.
Ideal for pairing with poultry, lamb, Mediterranean cuisine, mushrooms, white meats, and aged cheeses. A wine with superb aging potential and excellent evolution in the bottle.
