Vin de France (Ardèche-Southern Rhône), France – Roussanne, Mondeuse Blanche, Viognier, Altesse, Vermentino, and in some cases Sauvignon Blanc, from young vines planted on clay-limestone soils. This varietal diversity is key to the wine's profile, contributing aromatic complexity, a balance between freshness and body, and a very dynamic character.
The winemaking process follows a distinctly natural and minimally interventionist philosophy: hand-harvesting, direct pressing, spontaneous fermentation with native yeasts, and aging for approximately six months on the lees in a combination of amphorae and used barrels, without bâtonnage or racking. The wine is bottled unfined, unfiltered, and without the addition of sulfites, placing it firmly within the realm of the purest natural wines.
In tasting, “Les Fleurs Sauvages” 2024 reveals itself as a very expressive, fresh, and vibrant white wine, with a nose dominated by white flowers, stone fruit (peach, apricot), and citrus, accompanied by a slightly herbal and mineral background. On the palate, it is light, juicy, and very fluid, with refreshing acidity and a delicate texture, revealing notes of ripe fruit, a touch of salinity, and a mineral sensation reminiscent of wet stone. The finish is clean, fresh, and very drinkable, with that crisp and direct character typical of well-made natural wines.
