V.T. Castile and León, Spain - 100% organic Albillo grapes from century-old vineyards located around Peñafiel (Valladolid), planted between 1891 and 1910 in calcareous-clay soils at altitudes ranging from 770 to 1,000 meters above sea level within the Vino de la Tierra de Castilla y León Protected Geographical Indication (PGI).
The grapes are hand-harvested from diverse plots with varying climates, orientations, and soil types, which contribute complexity and character to the wine. After harvesting, the grapes are destemmed and crushed, and the must remains in contact with the skins for approximately seven days, generating a slight skin-contact character, even in a white wine. Fermentation takes place with indigenous yeasts in stainless steel tanks, without oak aging or maturation, and the wine is naturally stabilized by the winter cold without undergoing malolactic fermentation. It is then bottled without fining or filtering, following the minimal intervention philosophy that characterizes the producer.
Lovamor 2023 presents a bright golden yellow color, with an intense and expressive nose that combines aromas of white flowers, ripe stone fruit, fresh straw, and herbal notes. On the palate, it shows freshness and good acidity, with a silky texture, moderate body, and a balance between the fruit and the minerality of the vineyard, giving it an attractive, fresh, and vibrant profile, perfect for drinking young.
This natural white wine stands out for its authenticity and fidelity to the terroir, offering an honest expression of the Albillo variety and the landscape of the centuries-old vineyards of the Castilian plateau, integrating energy, aromatic complexity, and character without any artificial winemaking techniques.
