The winery is located in the westernmost part of Nahe (High Nahe), in the village of Monzingen. They have 18 ha. Located between 160 and 250 meters above sea level. The area enjoys the protection of the forest that lies north called Soonwald. The climate of the area is very cold but the areas with better exposure and the terrain of the area with plenty of blue and red slate and quartzite also help to good grape ripening.
