D.O. Monterrei (Galicia), Spain - 95 PARKER. Dona Branca, Verdello and Treixadura from all the vineyards on sandy slate and clay soils. The varieties are added to the fermentation progressively where they ferment with their native yeasts. 1,500 liters are aged in an oak foudre, the rest in stainless steel.
It is pale, young and austere, with more notes of earth and rocks than fruit, with notions of wet granite and dried flowers. It has a contained maturity, 13% alcohol, very good acidity, freshness and balance, with a sense of purity and transparency that is common to all the whites from here. It has depth, energy, light and extra vitality this year. It could well be the best Alanda white to date. (Luis Gutierrez).

José Luis Mateo is a grower of worship, and one of the key men in the revival of the wines of Galicia. Show great respect for tradition and the land values ??working 14 Ha. Possessing organically and looking for a natural balance between plant and soil. It is also responsible for the recovery of almost extinct varieties like Zamarrica or Monstrous. This vintage 2013 we liked especially more Atlantic shows that other vintages with an acidity that makes it very accurate, in our opinion, more refined than other vintages.
