DOC. Vinho Verde, Portugal - 100% Alvarinho from 3 plots located in the town of Paderne de Melgaço, in the Vinho Verde sub-region, bordering Galicia. Clay and sand soils of granite origin, at an altitude of 50-150 meters above sea level. Respectful agriculture is practiced and the harvest is manual, it was carried out on September 17. The grapes were selected and pressed so that the must obtained spontaneously fermented with native yeasts in 1,000 and .2000 liter oak fudres, in contact with their lees and without adding sulfur. The wine performed the complete malolactic. 12 months of aging in the same fudres and 6 more months in stainless steel tanks until bottling in February 2020. After more than 1 year in bottle, it goes on the market in August 2021. It has an intense straw color. On the nose it initially shows a slight reduction (notes of toasted corn) that dissipate with oxygenation. This reduction is very slight and adds complexity to the set of apricot and claudian plum aromas on a flint background. In the mouth, although it does not have much alcohol, it has volume and very good intensity, it has a sharp, citric, salty mid palate with a long finish of good persistence. Limited units.
