Eulogio is an old acquaintance in our club, one of the most talented and dynamic oenologists of the current national wine scene, on the crest of popularity thanks to the international recognition of their wines that are becoming cult. The property cultivates 6.54 Ha that are divided into 11 parcels in the parishes of Sisán and Padrenda. These two parishes of the Salnés Valley are reputed for their poor and sunny land and are considered the cradle of albariño. The main variety is the Albariño, but also cultivate the native red varieties Caiño Tinto, Loureiro Tinto and Espadeiro. Pago El Palomar is a plot of centenary vines (150 years old), of the Albariño variety, of 0.36 ha of surface, it is the oldest farm in the winery and the oldest documented in the Rías Baixas. The soil is granitic and shallow, the roots to ensure their food penetrate deep into the rock which gives the wine a particular mineral character. It is a plot of strains in free standing with the average yield being very low, 44 hl / ha.
