D.O. Navarre, Spain - 97 PARKER. -97 PEÑÍN. 100% Grenache from very old vines in altitude and biodynamics, some planted in 1903 from San Martín de Unx. Fermentation with native yeasts in stainless steel tanks and subsequent aging for 36 months in French oak barrels of different sizes. First vintage where the production is carried out by Raúl Perez winemaker.

Marriage built by Henry and Elisa Úcar Basarte has prompted the launch of this new winery. Both Elisa, an economist, as Henry, an agricultural engineer, build an extensive background in the wine sector in Navarre. In the municipality of San Martin de Unx, an area traditionally red grapes, the winery is fortunate to cultivate 21 plots of old vines of Grenache, with different soils, altitudes and orientations. In fact, the objective of this adventure is to rescue and restore it to its splendor to this local variety, a hallmark of the appellation of origin.
